It took me 2 weeks to find the time (willingness), and about 8 seconds to do the repair. I had already billed 72 hours electrical on this vehicle so 8 seconds is a freebie. Of couse it was the eight second freebie that seems to have destroyed my right shoulder for at least a couple of days. Should have billed an hour.

I’m generally ashamed of myself when I’ve put off a repair for weeks because I thought it would be hard and it ends up taking less than an hour. Then when I pop in to do something “real quick” the car is out of commission for weeks.

this was just popping the connector onto the back of a guage cluster. Cluster went to Rhode Island for fancy restoration with new plasi-chrome (beyond my wrench and hammer operation). I thought It would need re-pinning, since I thouroughly re-arranged it a year or two ago (converted a ‘hot-rod’ wiring harness into a super-correct ‘restoration’ one.) Took longer to move the Porsche. (should have billed an hour, he has a damn Porsche).
